Although I’m wearing hijab, my hair health and beauty is still in my concerns. After analyzing which type of hair do I have, it fall under DRY HAIR category. Yes I have to admit that my hair is dry, coarse, brittle, split and frizz at the end of hairs, changing new shampoo habit, hair loss, and it become worse after I went to swimming class every weekend. Luckily I do have no dandruff problem or its a package of damaged hair and really need to treat immediately. Its like chronic disease. Can be save by a series of consistent treatments.huhu
Therefore, I asked few friends regarding tips on making my hair soft and silky besides having a half day of hair treatment at salon. Spending half day at salon to treat my hair is quite impossible with two kids who need my attentions. Homemade recipes is most preferred
Among THEIR answers:
- Use daun pandan
- Using lime
- Use mayonnaise (tip from Fasha Sandha)
- Use of tamarind (asam jawa; tip from mom-in-law)
- Do cream bath treatment
- Use hair conditioner after shampoo
Among those tips, I choose to use mayonnaise to treat my dry hair. All you need to do just smear 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise all over the hair. Leave for about 20-30 minutes. Cover your hair shower cap and rinse. or you can get other tips from below website for homemade conditioner

Note: The smell of mayonnaise is a little out of sorts, still the result was good even though only the first attempt (I’ve tried and its true, my hair soft only for first attempt, I LIKE!!!) Do at least twice a week to see the best result. If you have any tips to soften the hair, kindly drop in comment box.
Its good to have homemade recipes, because you can do it at home while juggling with your kids and home chaos.

just today i hv used
2bananas + 4tbsp honey + 1tsp vineger(lime will also do) + 2drops of coconut oil = a good hair conditioner!!
results are quite good (Blend them all together)!! you might just hv a little trouble removing the banana from your hair!!
*you can also use coconut milk, yogurt and lime!!
*egg is a very good conditioner but leaves a bad smell!!
*beer is also great for conditioning your hair but the same smell problem goes with it!!
