(2) Variaties of clothes, foods, soft toys, kitchenware, narita brand toto, available to choose
(3) Objective of visiting Rantau Panjang:
- buy correlle, 3/4 pants, sponge bob square pant soft toy
(4) Objective achieved with extra purchase of sudu garfu, tea jug for daddy, push car for amirul, caftan for widad,
(5) The crowd is fainted from the parking area to eating place.- Advisable to go early for parking
(6) The shops: If you have talent in bargaining with loghat Kelantan; this is the place. You can really get cheap price if know how.
(7) Total damage: just tutup mata, paid and terus keluar dari kedai

[2] Overall, I’m satisfied with:

  • Varieties selection of books ; Children, fiction, non-fiction, art, religion, self-help, cookery
  • Well management from BookAccess (two thumbs up)
  • Very nice hospitality from the staffs
  • Delicious foods available to pick after tiring day choosing books,

[3] Storage area (temporary place where you kept books while you go to search another books), pick up area (waiting area for you & ur books to wait your companion to fetch you), cashier ( cash & credit card )

[3] However, I felt distracted when :

  • A few moms unwrapped the book to check book’s content although there is a designated place with few staff in charge that will help minion to unwrapped the plastic
  • A few children purposely unwrapped the books although they do not intent to buy the books
  • I’m greedy wolf while choosing the books but ; I’m not blocking other to choose the books as well, I do not put the books on the floor if I’m not take it, I don’t fight for books (wei byk lagi la buku yg sama, asal ko nk berebut ngn aku) ishhhhh
NOTE : Can’t wait for 2012 BigBadWolf Sale. Need new book shelf I think.. Yayang IKEA jom…

Little Bean: Sterilizer & Warmer Combo Pack – My Review

Actually this entry was drafted 7/7/09 and i almost forget about this entry until one of my reader asked me about Little Bean : Sterilizer & Warmer combo. I thought that i already post this entry, rupanya still draft. Adakah saya sudah tua or saya terlalu buzy or saya pemalas.. huhu..

Previous on my bottle warmer & sterilizer entry, i had bought Little Bean : Sterilizer & Warmer Combo Pack. Since im using this, Amirul no more sore throat & swallowing problem. Its a a relieve to me & Mr Hubby. Kalu tak asyik ke doctor jer tuk check up.

Price

  • RM 159.2- after 20% . (if not mistaken normal price was RM199.90)

Pro’s

  • Cheap – compare to other brand that almost Rm200++
  • Reliable
  • Easy to use
  • Fast sterilizing (approximately 8mins for 6bottles)
  • Have alarm (bip bip sound after finish sterilizing)

Con’s

  • No handle. Difficult to take out the bottle rack after sterilizing finished
  • Right after you finished sterilize the bottles, you need to dry up the sterilizer, bcoz i once forget to dry up, end up the sterilizer not functioning. (tapi bukan rosak trus, boleh di repair di electrical shop)

I want to breastfeed my coming soon baby and this is what i plan for

I had planned to breastfeed my coming soon baby. I managed to breastfeed Amirul for 5months and he refused to drink my milk. 5months with my milk at night and formula milk during day time. Either that the side effect of taking Yasmin as my contraceptive pill or Amirul himself refuse to drink my milk or he loves formula milk more. So for this coming soon baby, i really want to breastfeed he/she fully with my milk at least 6month.

This is a big investment for me and normally if this kind of investment are required agreement from both side (me and Mr Hubby) .

Here my email to Mr Hubby,

And this is what Mr Hubby replied,

Mr Hubby agreed with my proposal and its time for me to get more related infos on breastfeeding; breast pump selections, lactation consultation, breast pump gadgets, foods to increase milk productions, mental & physical preparation, baby sitter willingness, etc. fuhhh many things come across my mind.

Note : Huda kuatkan semangat. Susu ibu adalah the best nutrition. ok start digging infos on breastfeeding and yg sewaktu dgnnya.

Tips on how to be frugal on your baby’s necessity

What is frugal mean ??? According to Wikipedia, frugal mean the practice of acquiring goods and services in a restrained manner, whilst frugality mean avoiding or reduction of waste.

What is baby’s necessity : Things that essential for baby’s need, not things that fpr your baby’s want. Eg: baby clothes, baby nappies, blanket, booties+mitten is things that essential for baby. While baby car seat, baby bouncer, breast pump, etc is things that you baby’s want that if, you do not buying those items, your baby still has a healthy life.

The question is,how are we going to be frugal on our baby’s necessity ? A simple question that I find it hard to answer. We love our kids so much and we tend to buy/give everything to them and yet we have a very limited, short of money that put us on hold.

I found few tips at Baby Centre about being frugal on baby’s necessity and may useful for us. Click here for tips on buying 2nd hand items and click here for tips on buying baby items if you are in budget. Lastly, click here if you need to know what your baby need.

Here is my tips on being frugal on Amirul’s necessity:

  • Buy 2nd hand items – This also depend on which items you talk about. Eg :clothes, milk bottles,teat is acceptable if you buy new one since this is for daily use. However if toys, i would prefer to buy 2nd hand items as Amirul wont use it daily and I tend to buy new toys like every month to promote his new skills. Few web store selling baby items online like: Little Whiz , My BB Store, Ebay.
  • Borrow from your relatives – In my case, SIL lend me baby cot & baby bouncer. My sister lend me kain barut, and few more items
  • If you insist to buy new items, buy branded items or trusted brand like Avent, NUK, Fisher Price, or Playskool. They can last long, and can be passed to other siblings. It can save you  money in future. I’ve paid RM 179 for Amirul’s V-tech Sit-to-stand activity walker and can be used up to 3years old.
  • or buy new items but budget brand: eg : Tesco ( I did buy few toys from Tesco brand and yet still in good condition even tho Amirul throw it few times on floor )
  • Buy during sale - I love sale so much and quite a number of Amirul items i bought during sale.
  • Mixing and matching old and new items.
