If you are a smoker, you know that Ramadhan is exciting our every cell right now and i think it’s time for us to take the best out of it — by quit smoking. Yes, I know it’s hard.

It’s so hard.

It changes everything.

When I mean everything, it means everything.

EVERYTHING.

It changes the way you smell, the way you talk, the way you speak, the way you drive your behavior, the way you breathe the air.

It changes your fundamental values, your principles, and your philosophy.

It changes your money wise, your expenses, and your contribution to the economy.

It changes your community interaction, since you don’t want to get along with smokers that always have upper hands to fail your mission to quit.

You feel frustrated because, the only social skill you are good at, is when you ‘re getting smoke outside building and interact with the people around you.

It may takes a while to gain a new social skill.

You will some of lose your old smoking friends’ closeness as you gain new social friends that you may not even like their jokes, their too-good behaviors, their goals in life, their principles, and the way they’re thinking.

It changes the way you see people, the way you see the world.

You feel frustrated and resigned.

The only way to get away with all of this — is by getting a cigarette.

When you reached at this point, you know you are failed.

Back to square one. But don’t give up. It may take 100 times of trials before you permanently stop smoking.

Change is a revolution. I know this is insignificant to some other people. But to us, it’s a revolution.

This revolution needs a million of changes,
…needs a thousand times failure,
…and one success.

1. First of all, the price of a chicken isn’t going to decrease at all. In fact, . The Star Newspaper reported that May inflation rate is up to 1.7% compared to last year. This is a bad news for dad, especially a young dad like me, who struggles with limited money against his kids expense, loans, utilities, and all. Another percent of inflation is another headache to bear. The good news is, the inflation rate over the last five years is in consistent move but we don’t how long it will last.

We should be worried because average salary increase has shown the downward trend from 94 – 2007. There’s no way we can beat the economy with the salary. What we can do is, we can beat them with our expenses and demands. When both of them — especially our demands — are decreasing in the market. The market will go down its price.

2. Understand the basic micro economy. Micro economy is a study of how to we manage our unlimited want with limited resources. Also, micro economy studies demands and supplies curves in a market. You see, if there’s a demand in a market, there will be a supply. If the demand is increasing, the line will be shifting, forcing the price to go upward along the line of supply. There’s a video to make you understand.

Same as if happened the demand becomes decreasing, the price will follow downward, produce the surplus in the market. Let’s take an example of selling price of chicken. Hypothetically, 1 kilogram of a chicken is RM6.50. If no one demand a chicken in a certain period of time, the seller will surely lower the price as they afraid their chickens will be rotted. Surplus.

5 Places of Interest That I Want To Go With My Family

Having two kids do not forbid us to have a family vacation. Amirul was 10 month old and 18 months when we brought him to Melaka and Bandung. To have a family vacation with two small children quite a tough job to me and Mr Hubby. Big luggage, basket for Amirul’s milk needs, diaper bag, stroller etc. Next year we are planning to have another family trip.

I want to have a family trip only me and Mr Hubby enjoy the trip, but we want to leave a good memory to Amirul and Widad as well. I love adventure place and love sightseeing. I had listed down few places of interest and hopefully, Mr Hubby agreed with it

Location : Universal Studio, Singapore
Why : . I want to visit a place for us to enjoy to the fullest. Besides Singapore popular shopping areas like Orchard Road, Bugis Road, Merlion, Singapore Zoo and Sentosa Island are interest places to visit. However, the hot new attraction at Singapore now is Universal Studios. A friend of mine had gave good review and two thumb up.

Universal Studios Singapore have few attractions like The Lost world from Jurasic Park, Far Far Away from Shrek, explore the New York city,to experience the future city at Sci-fi City, feel the Hollywood ambience, walk into the jungle of Madagascar, and travel to Pharoahs era at Ancient Egypt. Bestnya.. Jom Yayang. Visit here to feel the excitement.

Location : Disneyland , Hong Kong
Why : I love theme park. I love adventure. I remember riding Space Shot at Genting theme Park twice. The feeling is scary yet excited,. Syokkkkkkkkk . At disneyland Hong Kong, we can immerse storybook character like Goofy, Mickey, Minie etc by exploring the fairytale adventures in this Fantasyland. Amirul must be so excited when he can find Buzz Lightyear at Tomorrowland, for a person who afraid of horror or scary movie, Adventureland is not recommended and we can enjoy the floats, musicians, dancers and beloved Disney Characters that star in a magical procession bringing the streets of Main Street, U.S.A. to life. I already feel in the dreamland now.. huhuh

Location : Jogjakarta
Why : Jogjakarta have many places to visit. Historical places like Candi Borubudur, Prambanan, and Kotabaru. Beautiful sandy beaches like Siung Beach, Sadeng Beach and Sepanjang Beach. Besides, sight seeing the beautiful places, shopping the souvenir for friends and relatives is a must. Malioboro the most famous market place to buy leather puppet (wayang kulit/wayang golek), wooden handicraft (miniature guitar and drum) and batik items. Mr Hubby would like this place so much. Why : I want Amirul and Widad near to the nature. I want them to love our flora and fauna. Sandakan is the right place to go. Sandakan have Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary where we can watch the orang utan up close in their natural habitat, to observe the collection of eggs, tagging of mother turtles and releasing of baby turtles into the sea at the Turtle Islands Park, watching crocodile and snake shows at Sandakan Crocodile farm not forgetting variety of fresh seafood to buy. Why : We had our honeymoon at Langkawi. A nice place to visit. Sandy beaches like Pulau Pasir Basah, Pantai Chenang, the legendary lake; Tasik Dayang Bunting is most well known for her legend of any childless women who bathed in the lake would conceive thereafter, Makam Mahsuri where the history of Mahsuri bled white blood at her execution as a sign of her innocence, ride the cable car at Mount Mat Cincang. Memorizing the sweet moment during honeymoon.

For those who like to shop, Langkawi is a duty free place that you can enjoy to buy local and imported goods like cigarette, liquor, cosmetics, watches, fashion ware, jewellery, confectionery, batik, imported kitchenware and household appliances

Sudah hampir seminggu abah meninggal dunia, namun masih lagi terasa seperti semalam. Alhamdulillah semuanya telah selesai. Namun, Mama masih lagi bersedih kerana telah kehilangan teman hidupnya. 34tahun mengharungi suka duka membesarkan dan mendidik kami adik beradik, semoga Mama akan menjadi lebih tabah menghadapi dugaan Allah ini. Aku sekeluarga telah kembali melakukan rutin harian seperti biasa, namun, kenangan bersama Abah masih lagi segar diingatan. Lebih-lebih, aku berada disisi Abah sewaktu beliau menghembus nafasnya yang terakhir. Aku sememangnya naif kerana tidak menyangka keadaan Abah yang disangka lelah/sesak nafas merupakan, saat dimana malaikat Izrail sedang mengambil nyawanya.

Sesungguhnya kehilangan Abah betul-betul menginsafkan aku dan membuatkan aku lebih mendekatkan diri dengan Allah. Terasa seperti kerdilnya diri ini apabila mengingati tentang amalan yang bakal dibawa untuk berjumpa dengan-Nya. Adakah cukup amalanku, sudah bersediakah aku untuk menghadapi saat kematian yang tidak mungkin boleh di tunda pada keesokan harinya, adakah aku mampu menahan kesakitan dikala saat roh berpisah dengan jasad. Secara jujur aku katakan yang aku takut untuk menempuh saat kematiaan setelah melihat dengan mataku sendiri sewaktu Abah menghembus nafasnya yang terakhir. Apabila teringat saat dikala Abah menghembus nafasnya yang terakhir, terus aku berusaha untuk lebih mendekatkan diri dengan Allah, berusaha untuk menambah amalan kebaikan untuk dibawa bersama setelah roh berpisah dengan jasad.

Nabi SAW bersabda : “Apabila seorang anak Nabi Adam AS meninggal dunia maka terputuslah (pahala) amalannya kecuali dari (pahala) tiga (3) perkara iaitu sedekah jariah, ilmu (yang dicurahkan) yang dimanfaatkan dan anak soleh yang mendoakan (rahmat dan keampunan) untuknya.” HR al-Imam Muslim (261H).

Maksud “ anak Nabi Adam AS” ialah manusia iaitu keturunan Nabi Adam AS.

Maksud “ sedekah jariah” ialah sedekah yang manfaatnya berteruasan seperti bina surau , sekolah, masjid, tempat menunggu bas dan lain-lain.

Maksud “ilmu (yang dicurahkan) yang dimanfaatkan” ialah pengetahuan yang telah disampaikan yang dapat diperoleh manfaat daripadanya seperti fardhu ain, ilmu kejuruteraan, ilmu sains, ilmu menangkap ikan di dalam sungai dan laut dan lain-lain.

Maksud “anak soleh yang mendoakan (rahmat dan keampunan) untuknya” adalah jelas. Inilah peranan anak yang soleh. Allah SWT Maha Mendengar doa hamba-hambanya.

Home Deco : DIY Frame

This DIY frame was inspired by IKEA.

[1] Put an empty frame on flat surface

[2] Place your choice of fabric under the frame

[3] Fold the fabric and nail it. I used small nails instead of clip with stapler. Fold and nail the fabric on the both right and left side of the frame. Ensure that you pull the fabric tightly before you nail it.

[4] After you completed nailed the fabric on right and left side of the frame, fold the fabric at the edge of the frame like you wrap the present and nail it.

Tadaaa.. Finished

Where do you spend money for your groceries?? Tesco, Carrefour, Bintang, Giant, Cold Storage, Checkers or etc. There are few choices of hypermarket for me to choose near to my area but I am Tesco loyal customer. uhukssss. Most of the time, I will spend money for grocerries and related items at Tesco. Besides of from the items are arranged neatly on shelves, items sold at Tesco is fresh and made up of various options. However the most important thing is the cheaper and affordable prices they offer compared to Carrefour and Giant.

If Carrefour has Bonuslink to collect points and Giant have sticker to redeem item from their reward programme, Tesco has ClubCard for customer to enjoy the discount. Every 150 points collected will be converted to cash voucher that will be given together with ClubCard statement every quarter. Other than cash voucher, you also are given product coupons to enjoy.

Renovation Tips for New House

We are in the ‘moving to new house’ mode. Insya Allah, we will move in to the house early of May or end of April. Busy preparing this and that, busy looking for best quotations with the best quality, headache when money gone like water, busy thinking which one should done first and done later, bla..bla..blaaa. and not forgetting my EDD is just 1month away. Everything need to settle within this month. Fuhhhh..

A little bit about my new house; it’s not a new house actually, its a 2nd hand house. Its a intermediate double-storey house somewhere in Bangi. I heart Bangi for its serenity, facilities, quiet residential area, the people etc. Buying a 2nd hand house also cost you to spend much money even tho not as much as moving in to totally new house. Here i would like to share some house renovation tips for new house.

Please bear in mind that my house is 2nd hand house, not new house. So that, the renovations is not as much as new house.

Inspecting the house checklist

When you buy a house,check the house completely, from roofing to flooring and inside out.

1. Is there any furniture available for you left by house’s owner.
2. Is there any big renovation need to be done (kitchen extension, roofing & plumbing problem, wiring or electrical work, tiling,)
3. Is there a need of re-painting work to be done.
4. Is there major home decoration needed
5. Security of the house; grill, door knob

Referring to point above, my case are :

1. My house already has 3units of air-cond, shower heater, kitchen cabinet.
2. Kitchen extension – No, roofing problem – No, plumbing problem – Minor, Wiring / electrical work- additional plug and fan, Tiling – minor,
3. Re-painting work – Yes
4. Home Decoration – Curtain railing need to be installed,
5. Grill – sliding door and kitchen grill need to change to new ones. Reput sudah
6. We change all door knob to new ones

Sketch and Plan

After overall scan the house, you must had an idea what to do to your new house. However, before you start ;

1. What is your budget .
2. Listing what is your idea & plan about renovating your new house
3. Find the contractor
4. Home decorations.

Referring to point above, my case are :

1. We had a tight budget, so we need to prioritize what the most needed and important part to renovate 1st.
2. Our list goes like this [1] Re-painting. [2] Tiling [3] Wiring for additional plug & fan [4] Grilling & Change the door knob [5] Plumbing [6] Curtain installation
3. We use Indonesia workers as our contractor. He did toilet renovation for us last time and we are very satisfied with his workmanship. With the good service and reasonable price he offered us, we hired him again to do refurbishing work at our new house. However, he only supply service, and we need to buy ourself all the materials like paint, pipe, white cement for wall touch up, etc. He listed down what he wanted us to buy. Its ok with us, as i love to do all the survey and compare the price.. huhu
4. At this moment, we don’t think house decoration is a MUST besides re-painting the house. The only thing that we considered that this time are painting and curtain. Furniture like sofa, dining table will be used what we had now, wall deco (frame, photo etc) will be done later on.

Parent holding their children, mom-2-be like me, daddy pushing the stroller while mummy busy strolling each booth to see what interest them. What a crowd !!!! Fuhh. I lost Mr Hubby and Amirul when I stopped at one booth and both of them just walked straight without waiting for me.. erhmm. Actually, this kind of expo is not recommeded to bring babies or toddlers as the crowd was so hectic. So this is what happened to Mr Hubby and Amirul while I’m having my own time strolling each booth peacefully.. huhuh

Plenty of booth provided various services participated in this expo, however, not much caught my attention. There were Combi, Neslac, Yakult, Maybank Etika, StemCell, Karangkraf, Buds YouHaveABaby/Autumnz’s and etc. Various of booth, nevertheless, only KarangKraf & YouHave ABaby/Autumnz booth caught my attention. I’ve spent about 1hours at YouHaveABaby/Autumnz booth. They were selling nursing bra, cloth diaper, breastmilk storage bag (ziplock style) , etc. You can go to their website for more details.

Being a preggy mummy for 9months really give me privilege. Mr Hubby treat me like princess (i am princess to my two guys in my family, huhuh). Whatever i wish for, he will try to full in it, including my foods craving. Please take note yang En Suami saya sgt control my food intake. Breakfast; bread, Lunch; nasik, Dinner; bread lagi.Dier mahu saya kelihatan sentiasa kurus dgn berat hanya 53kg the max dgn ketinggian 158cm. ish..ish..ishh..However, i already use to this control thingy and this is the time for me to ask whatever I want to eat. huhuhuh. After deliver baby, Huda will automatically start diet, dont worry yayang. I’ll get my pre-pregnancy weight & body.. Yayang just prepare for money tuk Huda beli Herbalife..

It’s very frustrating, I was the one who supposed to answer that question. Hehe. Well anyway, Congratulations!!

The New Wake Up Your Brain Question Gives Headaches
And now the morning crew has the new wake up your brain question that will scratch all of your heads (every man has two head if you know what i mean), waiting to be answered or snowballed to five digit numbers.

In order to make extra money for family, every morning i turn up to 95.8 FM while driving just to hear the ‘word queue to call’.
