Huda Kitchen : Singapore Fried Meehoon

Ingredients :
- 1/2 packet of Mee Hoon – soak until soft and toast
- 2 clove of garlic – slice
- 1 onion – slice
- 1 small cup of chicken – dice it
- 1 teaspoon of black papper
- 1/2 cup of carrot – dice it
- Oyster sauce
- Fish sauce
- 1 egg
- Oil to fry
Method :
- Heat up the oil and saute the onion, garlic until fragrant
- Add chickens, carrot, black pepper, oyster sauce, fish sauce – until the chicken turn brownish
- Lastly, add mee hoon. Untill the the ingredients stir well. In the pan, put the Mee hoon aside and crashed an egg
- Fry the egg until scramble. Stir everything together. Tada ready to eat
- Serve with fried onions, sliced green onions, sliced red chilies
Huda Kitchen : Marble Cheese Brownies

Ingredients for brownies
(1) 1 cup of flour *
(2) 250g of butter
(3) 1 cup of sugar
(4) 1/2 cup of fresh milk
(5) 1 teaspoon of soda bicarbonate *
(6) 1 teaspoon of baking powder *
(7) 3 eggs
(8) 1 cup of chocolate powder *
(9) 1 teaspoon of essence vanilla
*(digaul rata dan diayak)
Ingredients for cheese
(1) 250 of cream cheese
(2) 1 egg
(3) 3/4 cup of sugar
Methods for brownies
(1) Melt the butter. Put aside
(2) whisk the egg with sugar. Add butter, fresh milk and essence vanilla
(3) untill the batter well blended add flour, chocolate powder, soda bicarbonate and baking powder little by little.
Methods for cheese:
(1) Beat cream cheese and sugar untill well blended, Then add sugar
(2) Beat untill it become creamy
Layered the brownies and cheese accordingly. Heat the oven at 175C and bake for 40 minutes
Sup Tulang – Homemade and Recipe Mama
Ingredients:
(1) Tulang lembu – bahagian kaki
(2) 2 pcs Sup bunjut
(3) 5 pcs onions – slice
(4) 5 pcs garlics – slice
(5) Ginger – slice
(6) Rempah ratus – bunga cengkih,kulit kayu manis,etc
Methods:
(1) In big pot, put tulang lembu, sup bunjut, salt.
(2) Boil for 6 hours. Don’t expect the bone to tender,bcoz its never will.huhuh. Just to ensure the daging yg berada di tulang lembut dan boleh dimakan

(3) In the frying pan,fry slice onion, garlic , rempah ratus and ginger until brownish

(4) Then pour the mixture of onions and rempah ratus into the pot of tulang lembu
(5) yeayyy.sudah masak.
(6) Nak serve don’t forget perah limau, letak cili, daun bawang and bawang goreng.
(7) Makan dengan nasik panas – SEDAP

Toasted Chicken
Cencaru Sumbat Goreng

Ingredients:
(1) 10 Red Chillis
(2) 5 Chilli Padi
(3) 3 serai
(4) 1 pc bombay onion
(5) 3 pcs garlics
(6) pinch of salt & sugar
(7) kelapa parut
(8) limau kasturi
(9) ikan cencaru
Methods
(1) in blender – put all the ingredients
(2) blended well
(3) goreng ikan cencaru half cook.tos
(4) sumbat inti then goreng sampai masak
Bolognese Spaghetti

Ingredients :
[1] 1 tin of Prego Traditional Pasta Source
[2] 1 tin of Prego Cheese & Herbs Pasta Source
[3] 3 table spoon of chilli source
[4] 1 pinch of salt – optional
[5] 3 tablespoon of black pepper
[6] Mince meat
[7] 1 tin of button mushroom
[8] Angel hair Spaghetti - cook as in instructions
Methods – Bolognese Source
[1] Add Prego Traditional & Cheese & Herbs Pasta Source in the pan
[2] Add mince meat
[3] Add chili source
[4] Add black pepper
[5] Add button mushroom
[6] Stir and cook till all the ingredients well blended

Batagor (Bakso Tahu Goreng) fresh from Bandung
Indonesian foods sometimes can be accepted to my throat. Besides Bakso and bolen pisang, I love to eat Batagor. Batagor is a snack originated from West Java;Bandung. Its made from tofu filled with meatball serve with peanut sauce, sweet soy sauce and sprinkled with lime juice. Makan time dia panas2,, fuhh mmg sedap
Note : Don’t ask me how to do it, I just enjoy the Batagor and burppp.. Alhamdulillah kenyang.. huhuh. get the recipe here
Huda’s Kitchen : Healthy Salad
- Green Cabbage
- Green Cabbage
- Carrot
- Prune
- Orange
- Meat loaf
- Cheese
- A pinch of salt
- Mayonnaise
Method
- Add all the ingredients in a bowl and put inside the fridge before serve
Note : All the ingredients depend on your choice/preference. If you love fruits take out the vegie.

Huda’s Kitchen : Mashed Potato with Gravy
Ingredients for mashed potato:
- 8-9 big size potatoes
- Water to boil the potatoes
- 3 spoons butter
- 2 spoons mayonaise
- ½ cup of fresh milk/fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
Ingredients for gravy :
- 2 garlics (chopped small)
- 2 teaspoon of blackpapper
- 2 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoon of ketchup
- 2 tablespoon of corn flour
- 1 cube of chicken stock
- oil
Method for mashed potatoes
- Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces. Boiled and add 1/ teaspoon of salt. Boiled until tender. Toss it.
- In the electric blender put potatoes, butter, mayonnaise, milk and fresh black pepper and blend it.
- Ready to serve
Method for gravy :
- Saute garlic and black pepper
- Add all other ingredients except the cornstarch. Cook until boiling.
- While stirring, add cornstarch and keep on stirring
- Ready to serve with mashed potato

My new hobby is cooking. Cooking is like a therapy. Some people go shopping for therapy, but with limited money in purse, cooking is the best therapy for me.. huhhh.
Beside the main course like Ayam Masak Merah (my expertise), Ayam Masak Kicap, Ayam Goreng, telor dadar, etc, I like baking. I’d bake cakes, muffins, pastries and pizzas. My De Longhi Oven serve me well. Every week there is baking activity. Whether or not the cake/muffin/pastry turn to be ok, I still keep on experimenting the recipes. Of course the food testers are Mr Hubby, Amirul & Widad..
There are many blogs that I used to make as reference, but the most I like is, a Dapur Tanpa Sempadan aka Mat Gebu. Besides his own recipes, he also adopt from others and make by his own version. Most of Mat Gebu’s recipes are easy and simple to make. Perfect for me. Budak baru nak belajar la katakan.. huhhuh. There are some recipes, Mat Gebu will show a step-by-step like the recipe below.

Huda’s Kitchen : Banana Cheese Muffin
Ingredients A
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/2 tablespoon of soda bicarbonate
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 3 cups of blended banana (add 1/2 cup of water when blend the banana)
- 1/4 cup of oil
Ingredients B
- 250 gm cream cheese
- 60 gm sugar
- 1tsp essence vanilla
- 1 egg
Method A
- In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, soda bicarbonate, salt, and sugar. Mix well using fork.
- Add blended banana and oil into the bowl. Mix well
Method B
- Beat the cream cheese. vanilla essence and sugar.
- Add egg and beat until creamy.
Put 1 tablespoon of banana batter inside muffin cup layered with 1 teaspoon of cheese batter. Covered 1 teaspoon of banana batter on top of cheese batter. Decorate with chocolate chips on top of it.
Bake for 25minutes at 190 Celsius

Ingredients A
- 190 gm butter
- 170 gm sugar
- 3 eggs
- 20 gm cocoa powder (i’ll use dark chocolate – the taste a little bit bitter)
- 120 gm flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Ingredients B
- 250 gm cream cheese
- 60 gm sugar
- 1tsp essence vanilla
- 1 egg
Methods :
Preheat the oven at 160C. Grease the container with butter. Put a side.
Ingredients A
- Beat the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one-by-one. Continue beating
- Slow the speed. Add flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
Ingredients B
- Beat the cream cheese. vanilla essence and sugar.
- Add egg and beat until creamy.
- Pour the chocolate batter and spread evenly.
- Pour cream cheese batter onto the chocolate layer. Spread evenly
- Pour the balance of chocolate batter onto the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 40 minutes.

Huda’s Kitchen : Widad’s Food – Dory Fish with Carrot Porridge
Ingredients : Carrot, Fish Dory and rice
Boiled the rice until is slightly dry and the rice is fluffy . After that add dory fish and put 1/4 cup of water
Boiled the rice until is slightly dry and the fish are cook, then you can add the carrot
When the water is dry, the rice is soft and fluffy, the fish and carrot are cook. It’s ready to eat
Huda’s Kitchen : Homemade Chocolate Coated Oreo
Melt the compound chocolate with 1 teablespoon of butter over a double boiler
Put 1 table spoon of melted chocolate inside the chocolate mold. After that put 1 oreo biscuit and cover the uncovered oreo with melted chocolate again.
Covered the whole oreo with melted chocolate.
Put the coated oreo inside the fridge, wait for 1/2 hour or when you can see the chocolate mold started to fog.
Take out the chocolate coated oreo and deco with your own creativity.
Ready to giveaway during Om Jabbar Wedding . We did for almost 1000pcs of this.
NOTE : I only made less than 100pcs or lesser. huhuhu. Widad whine and cry and don’t want with other. NO daddy, No Acu, NO Eyang & Atok…ONLY MUMMY..arggggg
Huda’s Kitchen : Waffle and Brownies for Breakfast
This is my 1st waffle. Sorry for not so nice like the one sold at the waffle shop. BUT the taste is so yummy.
Introducing my other kitchen gadget. Waffle maker OSTER Brand. I bought this from eBay and safely reached to my hand last week on Thursday. It’s a good timing, as Friday is Public holidays and I can using it just on time. No need to wait for weekend. So excited with the new thing (typical me), I had bought ready made crispy waffle flour from bakery shop and 3 days in row we were having waffle for breakfast. Not forgetting my sil-in-law came on sunday to enjoy the homemade waffle with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The outside layer is crispy and fluffy when you bite it. Fuhhh. Sedap cakap Mr Hubby..
What I like about this waffle maker:
- Quick heat up from a cold start (Its takes approximately 1-2 min to heat up the waffle maker)
- Adjustable heat (low, medium and high)
- Non-stick features left no sticking waffle mix to the grids. Easy clean
- Compact (handle folds down for less storage space)
- 1 is just enough to make your tummy full. The fluffy and crispy taste really makes me love this waffle so much

Huda’s Kitchen : Widad’s Food – Broccoli Chicken Porridge
Ingredients : 1/2 cup of rice, 1/2 cup of broccoli and 1/4 cup of sliced chicken
Boiled the rice until is slightly dry and the rice is fluffy.
Add sliced chicken and put 1/4 cup of water and boiled again
Boiled the rice until is slightly dry and the chicken are cook, then you can add the broccoli
The water is dry, the rice is soft and fluffy, the chicken and broccoli are cook. Now you either blend or just eat it immediately
However, my Little Widad loves blended porridge, so I need to blend it first before feed her. Nutritious meal for active baby.
Note : Read the goodness of broccoli for you baby here. Unfortunately, after reading this article, now I knew broccoli is not good for baby under 8 months old. Broccoli may induce gas for infants. aishhh. Its ok, after this no more broccoli, wait until Widad 1 year old. It’s ok, Mummy can finished the rest of the porridge.. huhukkkksss
Huda Kitchen : Rocky Road Brownies
After having new kitchen gadget, everyday, I would browse for new recipes. Typical me. Hangat-hangat taik ayam, Mr Hubby said.. and since I love baking cake, I found this step-by-step recipe which I think really easy for me. huhu
ROCKY ROAD BROWNIES from savorysweetlife.com . Here is my version step-by-step and Alhamdulillah, the taste was great and Mr Hubby keep praise and give a nice compliment for me.. Thanks Yayang..
Ingredients : 2 eggs, 3/4 cup of melted butter, mixture of walnuts, 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence and chocolate chip
1/2 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of chocolate
In large bowl mix melted butter, sugar, and vanilla until blended
Add one egg at a time beating well
Add flour and cocoa. Stir the batter until fully incorporated
Brownie batter already incorporated well
Spread the container with butter
Spread brownie batter inside the pan as evenly as possible
Spread the walnuts and chocolate chips all over the top of the brownie batter
Bake 190 Celsius within 30minutes.

Huda’s Kitchen : Widad’s Food : Oat with Apple Prune Puree
Put 5 tablespoons of oat into the pot. Add 1 1/4 cup of water and boil
Add 2 tablespoons of dates juice and blend it.
Ready to eat. I’d put inside the fridge and put inside small container for Widad’s breakfast and lunch.
Super yummy!!!
Note : Find the goodness of oat for your baby
Note : I’ve took 3 tablespoons and add with fresh milk. Such a nutritious drink. Good for those who on diet like me.. ~!!!
